Throughout history, God has accomplished extraordinary things through ordinary people who were simply willing to answer His call. We believe He is still calling men, women, young people, and families today to dedicate their talents, professions, and lives to His service.
Advent Harvest Mission is growing from small and humble beginnings, and we are prayerfully seeking fellow labourers who share a passion for preparing people for the soon return of Jesus Christ. Whether you are able to serve for a week, several months, a year, or even feel called to make this your long-term ministry home, we would love to connect with you.
Who We’re Looking For
God has entrusted each person with unique gifts. Whatever your background or profession, your experience may become a valuable part of His work.
We are especially seeking individuals with experience or interest in:
- Bible workers, evangelists, pastors, and teachers
- Medical missionaries, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Health educators and lifestyle coaches
- Gardeners, farmers, orchardists, and greenhouse growers
- Beekeepers and those interested in apiculture
- Builders, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, mechanics, and other tradespeople
- Plant-based cooks, bakers, nutrition educators, and food service workers
- Teachers, homeschool educators, and those who enjoy working with children
- Administrators, organizers, and project coordinators
- Graphic designers, photographers, videographers, writers, editors, and web developers
- Musicians and worship leaders
- Students, retirees, families, and anyone with a willing heart to learn and serve
No one possesses every gift, and no gift is insignificant. Some will teach, others will build. Some will preach, others will plant gardens, prepare meals, care for bees, maintain equipment, welcome guests, or quietly serve behind the scenes. Every role has value when it is done for Christ.
Opportunities in Cherryville
Our Cherryville Outpost is being developed as a place where practical ministry and discipleship come together. Depending on your interests and experience, opportunities may include involvement in:
- Bible & Evangelism Training
- Health & Lifestyle Education
- Gardening & Life Skills

- Lifestyle Health Centre
- Plant-Based Café & Health Foods
- Elementary Education
As the Lord provides, the ministry continues to develop facilities including:
- Working farm
- Greenhouses
- Expanding apiary (bee yard)
- Orchard and gardens
- Barn and agricultural buildings
- Food preservation and practical life-skills areas
- Future ministry facilities as God opens the way
Learn… Then Go
While some may feel called to become part of the Cherryville Outpost, many others may come to learn, receive training, gain practical experience, and then return to their own communities.
One of the long-term visions of Advent Harvest Mission is to see Christ-centred Outposts established throughout Canada and around the world. We hope to equip individuals and families with practical skills, ministry experience, and biblical principles that they can prayerfully adapt to the needs of their own local communities.
Our desire is not simply to build one ministry—but to help equip many faithful workers who will establish thriving centres of influence wherever God calls them.

We are not simply looking for volunteers to fill positions. We are praying that God will bring together people who desire to become part of a ministry family—people who are teachable, servant-hearted, and committed to advancing Christ’s kingdom.
